We will notify you of such ownership changes as well as the rights you have regarding your Personal Information.
  • We may also disclose aggregate, anonymized, or de-identified information about users for marketing, advertising, research, compliance, or other purposes.

Sale/Share/Targeted Advertising Disclosures. We do not sell Personal Information for money. We may “sell” or “share” Personal Information as those terms are defined by certain U.S. state privacy laws by allowing advertising, social media, and analytics partners to collect Personal Information via cookies or similar technologies in our Services for cross-context behavioral advertising and measurement. You may opt out of such “sale,” “sharing,” and “targeted advertising” at any time by contacting us at cristi@thekeeperofthememories.com or by using the “Do not sell or share my personal information” link in the footer of the Website.

5. USER GENERATED CONTENT

If you choose to submit user generated content to any public area of the Services, this content will be public and accessible by anyone. We do not control who will have access to the information that you choose to make available to others and cannot ensure that parties who have access to such information will respect your privacy or keep it secure. While we take reasonable steps to protect the Services, we are not responsible for the actions of third parties who access information you have voluntarily made public through the Services. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata may be retained indefinitely so that we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. Should you choose to interact with us on social media or through comments, please note that you will be voluntarily disclosing that information, and it may become public and be collected and used by others. We have no control over, and take no responsibility for, the use, storage, or dissemination of such publicly disclosed information by others, and such interactions do not subject us to liability related to misuse of your information by third parties.

If you are located in the European Union or the European Economic Area, you will only be subscribed to our marketing emails after you have affirmatively consented to receive them, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. If you are not located in the European Union or the European Economic Area, you may be automatically subscribed to receive our marketing emails when you opt in to receive any of our free products or services and/or purchase any products or services through our Website. Regardless of your location, you may unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time as described above.

7. THIRD PARTY WEBSITES

THE WEBSITE AND/OR SERVICES MAY CONTAIN LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY OWNED AND/OR OPERATED WEBSITES. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PRIVACY PRACTICES OR THE CONTENT OF ANY THIRD-PARTY WEBSITE. We suggest that you contact these third parties directly for information regarding their privacy, security, and data collection and distribution policies prior to providing them with any information. Information you provide on public or semi-public venues, including information you share on third-party social networking platforms may be viewable by other users of the Services and/or users of those third-party platforms. We are not responsible for managing third-party communications; if you no longer wish to receive communications from a third party, please contact that third party directly. Our inclusion of such links does not, by itself, imply any endorsement of the content on such platforms or of their owners or operators, except as disclosed on the Services.

Third-Party Service Providers. We partner with third-party service providers that help us operate and improve our Services. These include:

  • CMI Marketing, Inc., d/b/a Raptive: (“Raptive”) is a service provider of the Website for the purposes of placing advertising on the Website, and Raptive will collect and use certain data for advertising purposes. To learn more about Raptive’s data usage, click here: https://raptive.com/creator-advertising-privacy-statement.
  • Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to help us understand how our users engage with the Website. You can read more about how Google uses your Personal Information by visiting: Privacy Policy – Privacy & Terms – Google
  • Teachers Pay Teachers: The Company sells its products on teacherspayteachers.com (“TPT”), a third-party marketplace platform operated by Teacher Synergy LLC. If you purchase a product from the Company, you complete that transaction directly with TPT, including providing your payment, billing, and account information to TPT, and TPT processes that transaction under its own privacy policy and terms of service, not the Company’s. When you place an order for one of our products, TPT shares with us certain order details, including what you purchased and your name, city, state, and zip code, so that we can identify and fulfill your order and respond to related customer support inquiries. We do not receive your payment card information, billing address, or email address from TPT as part of this process, unless you separately choose to share it with us (for example, by contacting us directly). We encourage you to review TPT’s Privacy Policy to understand how TPT collects, uses, and protects your information.
  • Kit: We use Kit, an email service provider to manage our email list and send newsletters and other marketing communications. If you subscribe to our emails, the information you provide, such as your name and email address, is stored and processed by Kit on our behalf. Kit may also collect information about your interactions with our emails, such as whether you open an email or click a link, to help us understand engagement and improve our communications. You may unsubscribe from our emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link included in each email. To learn more about Kit’s data practices, please review Kit’s Privacy Policy.
• Social Media: Social media accounts and sharing options are available on this Website. If you choose to interact with us on social media platforms (such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, or Pinterest), you will be voluntarily disclosing Personal Information that may become public. We have no control over, and take no responsibility for, the collection, use, storage, or dissemination of information you disclose publicly through these platforms. Social media sites may also track your Personal Information. You may opt out of targeted advertising directly through the ad settings of these platforms. Opting out of targeted advertising does not mean you will stop receiving advertisements; it means the advertisements you see will not be tailored to your interests.

8. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

How long we retain your Personal Information depends on several factors, including whether we need the information to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce other applicable contracts and policies. We retain Personal Information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. When we no longer have a legitimate business need to process your Personal Information, we will either delete or anonymize such information. If deletion is not immediately possible (for example, because your Personal Information has been stored in backup archives), we will securely store your Personal Information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion can be completed.

Without limiting the foregoing, we will delete or anonymize your Personal Information upon the earlier of: (a) your request submitted in accordance with Section 11 of this Privacy Policy; (b) our decision to cease using our existing data providers; (c) our decision to discontinue the Services or cease business operations; or (d) our determination that the data is no longer needed to provide you with the Services, is too costly to maintain, or has become outdated.

9. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical, organizational, and administrative safeguards designed to protect the security, confidentiality, and integrity of Personal Information we process. Despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat our security measures or misuse your information. Transmission of Personal Information to and from our Services is at your own risk. If we become aware of a data breach affecting Personal Information, we will investigate and provide notifications to individuals and/or regulators as required by applicable law.

If we determine or reasonably suspect a security incident affecting the Website or Services, including unauthorized access, acquisition, or disclosure of Personal Information, we will investigate, contain, remediate, and where appropriate or required by law, report the incident and notify affected individuals and applicable authorities without undue delay. We will cooperate with law enforcement and may provide notice by email and/or on the Website, as permitted by law.

10. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

The Services are intended for use by adults. While our Products may include content designed for use by children (such as printable activities, worksheets, and educational materials), the Website and the purchasing, downloading, and account features of the Services are directed at adults, including parents, guardians, and educators, and are not intended to be accessed or used by minors.
