Even and odd numbers is an important skill for helping little learners understand whole numbers, grouping numbers, and the number system as a whole. Plus, it’s a great first step towards learning prime numbers, division facts and strategies, and even square roots.

Another really easy way to help your little learners master the concept of even and odd numbers is by adding to your calendar time. This is probably the easiest way to make sure you’re practicing evens and odds every day. As you read the calendar, say the date out loud together and note whether the day is even or odd.
