Even and odd numbers is an important skill for helping little learners understand whole numbers, grouping numbers, and the number system as a whole. Plus, it’s a great first step towards learning prime numbers, division facts and strategies, and even square roots.

This is probably the easiest way to make sure you’re practicing evens and odds every day. As you read the calendar, say the date out loud together and note whether the day is even or odd.
