If you missed my “Tot School” post from last week, you can find out what our “Tot School” days looked like at 18-months-old here.

Keep in mind that all toddlers do things in their own time and on their own terms. What one is ready for, another might not be. Please use your best mama judgement when planning activities for your little kids.
This week, I thought I’d share a little bit more about our days.
We’re of course still doing our calendar every day and he still loves it. It actually might be about time to make him some velcro games. Maybe we’ll start with colors and shapes.
We also sing the alphabet every time we wash our hands.
Lately, he’s also been loving this muffin tin and his Bright Starts Lots of Links*. We spend a lot of time working together to sort these links by color.
The little guy definitely still loves his abacus too. He pushes the beads back and forth and I count them for him.
One of our favorite activities thus far has been playing with our Learning Resources Primary Science Lab Set* and Learning Resources Helping Hands Fine Motor Tool Set*.
He loves squeezing the little droppers. Soon enough, we’ll add some water and let him practice filling the flask with his twisty dropper. I’m head over heels in love with this set and all the fine motor activities we can do with it.
Another thing we did this month was put together activity baskets, which you can read more about here as well as check out the “Tot School” space I put together in the studio.
There are so many things I want to do with the little guy throughout the next few years and if you’re interested in following along with what we’re up to each week, definitely sign up via email and/or follow The Keeper of the Memories on Facebook and Pinterest.
