Another weekend of working on the studio project. We’ve been measuring and cutting the trim a little bit at a time and it’s definitely been a painstakingly-slow process.
Instead of just doing things the easy way and buying trim, we decided to take the road less traveled and do it all by hand.
I’m not even going to get into how long he was outside sanding these boards over the weekend, but it’s lookin’ good, isn’t it? It’s crazy to think we’re almost to the one-year mark since we broke ground on this project. And we’re still so close and yet so far away.
What’s next? Getting the rest of what we already have cut primed and painted and then figuring out what we’re going to do along the ceiling. I already picked out a router bit for the baseboard and we’ll be doing all of that by hand as well, but not until after we stain and seal the floor.
