We’ve been insanely busy working on the studio project and now that we’ve checked the last thing off our to-do list for this weekend, it’s time to share some pictures of my absolutely gorgeous finished hardwood floors.
I can’t even begin to wrap my head around how long of a process this ended up being. Of course, we had to sand these floors and then stain them. After that, my husband did several coats of Polyurethane. That in itself is a process because you have to wait for each coat to dry.
The other somewhat crappy part of this process is that we can’t do much of anything else out here for a few days and we can’t put anything on these floors for about two weeks. The Polyurethane has to completely cure.
If you’re interested in following along in real time as we get ourselves moved in, make sure to follow The Keeper of the Memories on Facebook.
Are you frustrated by how disorganized you are and how little you’re getting done? You’re definitely going to want to come hang out with us in the 52 Weeks group and chat about workspace & workflow and living an inspired life.
Thanks so much for visiting and have a great week!
