This weekend, I decided to consolidate – partly, because I’m running out of space and partly because my studio feels too cluttered.
The point was to get everything together – scraps, letter stickers, and embellishments – I need to get some of this stuff used up, but between work and classes and the house and Thor – well, I’m sure you know how it goes…
Obviously, my favorite colors are white, pink, blue, tan, brown, and black – those are the containers that are, more or less, full. My goal is to use something from each of those half dozen each week – I seriously need to! I also pulled some blue letters from the blue basket because there was no chance of them fitting in the container, so I need to use those as well. Surprisingly, everything else fit.
I also cancelled my last kit club subscription (because of some issues with pay pal), but after going through things in my studio, I’m not entirely sure I’m going to renew it.
I rarely, if ever, purge – I did, however, get rid of some small/odd-sized scraps. Cardstock/patterned paper scraps are underneath the embellishments, which isn’t a big deal w/ the red, orange, yellow, green, and purple – you know, because I can still see everything. Lol… The other colors, though – like I said, that’s why my goal is to use something from each of those containers each week.
