Color by code activities are great for encouraging language and literacy as well as fine motor skills.

Learning sight words is important for little kids because they’re some of the most commonly used words in the English language. Your preschoolers and kindergartners will run across these words repeatedly as they start to read.

Stamping Sight Words

Grab some fun, colorful play dough, and rubber letter stamps and then practice stamping the sight words into the play dough. This could also be extended as a fun science activity to learn about impressions. 

Sight Word Writing Tray
