collage of sequencing worksheets for kindergarten with text: Preschool & Kindergarten Sequencing WorksheetsWe’re on a roll with sequencing lately and today we’re sharing some fun no prep Sequencing Worksheets for Kindergarten. These 4-step sequence cut and paste worksheets are perfect for your preschool and kindergarten learners.

After all, learning about sequencing is such an important skill. It not only helps little kids become creative thinkers and problem solvers, but it also increases reading comprehension and verbal communication skills.

Can your kiddos retell a story using words like first, then, next and last? Can your little learners put everyday events into a logical order? If so, they’re well on their way with the concept of sequencing.

These sequencing worksheets for kindergarten are a great way to work on important math and literacy skills. Have you taught your preschoolers and kindergartners about ordinal numbers yet? I remember working on this exact concept last year with the little guy.

You can discuss sequence words using these no prep printables and then work together to determine what happened first, second, third, etc.

Using both ordinal numbers as well as sequence words when discussing order of events is a wonderful way to encourage strong communication skills. Don’t forget to have your kiddos retell the story after they’ve finished each of the sequencing worksheets included in this pack.

And of course coloring and cutting out the sequence story pictures means practicing fine motor skills as well. Talk about a huge win!
