Just print these pages and pass them out to your little learners with scissors and glue sticks. They’ll have fun retelling the story from the pictures while they practice cutting and pasting skills.

For added fun, have students make up stories about what’s happening in the pictures and tell you about it while they work.

Practicing sequencing with these worksheets helps preschool and kindergarten learners understand how events unfold in the stories they are reading. It’s an invaluable skill for beginning readers and early writers.

Kindergartners who are good at sequence of events worksheets will also be good at constructing cohesive sentences and following along with what they are reading in a logical way.

Besides practicing sequencing with these adorable sequence of events worksheets, little learners will be developing their fine motor skills too.

Cutting and pasting are essential skills for preschool learners, even if your little ones need help figuring out the order of the events, they will benefit from practicing cutting and pasting.

These early skills help children develop the finger muscles essential for handwriting in later years.
