It’s that time of the month again. We’re sharing what we’ve been up to with this really adorable Raining Fire Headband Craft was definitely on the list. This month focuses on one very important truth, God is the Holy Spirit and our memory verse is from John 14:26.
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit,
whom the Father will send in my name,
will teach you all the things and remind you
of everything that I have told you.
Today we talked about love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, and of course lots more!
These bible activities are not only great for homeschool, but they make amazing VBS crafts too!

A huge thanks to Experience Early Learning (formerly Mother Goose Time) for providing us with their Experience Preschool curriculum for free in exchange for sharing our honest and authentic stories resulting from our personal experiences. It’s been such a huge blessing to us! As always, my opinions on awesome stuff for little kids are 100% my own.
Keep in mind that all preschoolers do things in their own time and on their own terms. What one is ready for, another might not be. Please use your best mama judgement when planning activities for your little kids.
And you know what? They’ve obviously thought of everything because they offer a Christian supplement too! Did I mention that we’re kinda in love with it? I’m sure that isn’t exactly a surprise, though.

What you’ll need
- Red Paper Strips
- Tissue Paper
- Yellow Paper
Here’s how to do it
Ask: What do you think is pure?
- Use the yellow paper to cut out a flame.
- Invite children to tear and glue tissue paper to the flame.
- Measure and tape the strips together to make a headband that will fit the child’s head.
- Take the flame to the headband.
- Wear and discuss how the Holy Spirit’s fire purifies our hearts and minds. We can also be Jesus’ witnesses by shining the light.
Explain: God gives his Holy Spirit to all those who believe in him. The bible tells us that those who have the Holy Spirit show love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control.
