Weather is definitely one of my favorite preschool monthly themes and I can’t wait to do it again with baby girl. In the meantime, I put together these awesome Free Printable Counting Preschool Weather Worksheets.
Adding math practice to your weather theme is a great way to have just a bit more STEAM in your preschool classroom! After all, counting and number recognition are such critical skills for your little learners to master.

Preschool Counting Lesson Plan Ideas
- To simplify this activity, you could write the correct sum for each set of weather items and then ask your preschoolers to count and trace the number.
- Read One Rainy Day: A Counting Book* or The Big Storm: A Very Soggy Counting Book* and encourage your little learners to make their own weather counting book.
- As a fun challenge, ask kiddos to add one to each set of weather items and then write the sum. If you laminate these preschool weather worksheets, you could add them to your math center along with a few dry erase markers*.
