It’s that time of the month again. We’re talking about what we’ve been up to with Experience God. This month, it’s all about how God is the light and our memory verse is from Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.
For today’s activity, we asked a very important question. What is perfect? If you’re interested in how we used jut a few pieces of white cardstock and some markers to learn this incredible lesson, then definitely keep reading.

We seriously love our Mother Goose Time preschool curriculum and especially Experience God. I make it a point to sit down and do the activities with the little guy on the weekends.
And of course I love the fact that we’re working together on something that’s important to both of us.
Not only is it a great way for us to spend quality time together, but it also makes learning about God and the bible fun for little kids.
The little guy and I started with two pieces of white cardstock. He scribbled on one and then we compared it to the other piece of white cardstock.
We talked about how they were different and how one piece had no marks, just like Jesus had no sin.
The next step was to cut the blank piece of white cardstock into the shape of a cross and glue it onto the piece that he had scribbled on.
When we were finished, I explained to the little guy that Jesus is light and covers the darkness with his love and forgiveness.
Don’t forget to check back next week to see what we’re up to with our new My Amazing Body theme. And if you missed our preschool space post, you can check it out here.
