One to one correspondence is a huge deal for preschoolers and kindergartners. Having the ability to count a set of objects correctly is essential to your little kids’ ability to understand basic math concepts.

When we started kindergarten this year with the little guy, we worked a lot on counting and number sense with ten frames. At the beginning, it was just a matter of getting the right answer. As we progressed through the year, we used ten frames to explore addition and subtraction too.

And what’s not to love about these cute ocean ten frame clip cards? They’re absolutely perfect for your next preschool ocean theme or kindergarten unit study. These clip cards are a great, hands-on way to make learning important math skills easy for your little kids.

While you’re at it, don’t forget to talk about more than, less than and equal to. After your kiddo has counted the fish on the card, ask him or her to count the same number of fish crackers for a quick & easy extension activity.

It truly is amazing how much your preschool and kindergarten learners can do with a few simple ten frame clip cards. If you’re looking for a fun way to teach your kiddo lots of important math skills, then you’re definitely going to want to download these free printable ocean ten frame clip cards today.
