These Free Printable Own Ten Frames are an excellent way to practice counting and number recognition with your little learners. Not only do they feature adorable fall owl clip art, but they’re also lots of fun.
There are so many fun ways to use these free printable owl worksheets. Kiddos can dab the correct answers with dot markers or you could even put each owl printable into a reusable sleeve and use mini erasers or dry erase markers.
Counting Fall Leaves
Grab some leaves from your backyard and start counting. Your preschoolers will love this quick & easy math activity. You could also use the colorful leaves as manipulatives. Write simple equations with sidewalk chalk and let your kiddos have fun solving them.
Try drawing a huge ten frame on the sidewalk or in your driveway and work on subitizing, which basically just means knowing how many leaves there are without actually counting them. Ten frames are a wonderful way to practice this skill and more.
