With the majority of my craft supplies in boxes while we finish the studio project, I had to get creative in putting together a temporary space.
The first question was where. The little guy’s room was of course out, as was the living room, at least long-term. I ended up settling on a corner in our bedroom. It’s not ideal and it’s definitely not pretty, but it works.
The next thing on the list to figure out was what. I wanted to limit this space to what was actually important to me. Note to self: This entire process has taught me that all of my craft supplies are important to me and I’m having a really hard time living without them. Who would’ve thought, right? Lol…
My copics and my washi tape are on this steel rack as well as all of my patterned paper. I also used baskets to organize kits and collections. Project Life stuff also ended up making the cut.
Most of the decisions I made were based on the fact that I knew this was indeed a temporary situation, so… I can still get to a lot of what’s in the living room too.
