Guess what, y’all? It seems as though we’ve been doing nothing but organizing lately, so I thought it was about time to make a mess. Say what? Yep, you heard me right. This week, I’m challenging you to use a texture or technique that’s new to you and to of course get messy in the process.
I put together an awesome canvas that’s nothing but texture.
I started with an 8×10 canvas. And of course added some gesso. After that was dry, it was time to layer it up.
Aqua spray ink came next, which I just sprayed and splattered. And then I added some navy acrylic with a stencil.
Once my canvas was completely dry, I added some blue acrylic as well. It’s so easy to create lots of texture with just layers of paint and ink.
More spray ink. This time in teal and some punchinella and white acrylic to lighten things up a little.
And of course I used a roller stamp to add some black ink too.
I used the same stencil I used earlier to add more white acrylic mixed with glass beads and that finished things up. Love the color and texture of this. It totally made my day! Lol…
