5 Reasons Why You Need to Get Your Craft Room Organized Right Now!

1. More Money for Craft Supplies

I love spending money on craft supplies. Bright new Copic markers, beautiful patterned paper, and tons of other inspiring craft purchases.

Raise your hand if you’ve ever purchased supplies again because you couldn’t find the ones you bought first or forgot you already had them? You can’t see, but I’m definitely raising my hand. We’ve all done it.

Imagine if you had that money back to spend on something new and exciting? Finally getting organized can do that for you. When your creative space is organized and every item has a home, you’ll be able to easily see what you have and what you need.

It really cuts down on duplicate purchases allowing you to save money or purchase fun new tools.

2. Less Stress = More Creativity

Clutter stresses us out, it’s part of being human. When a space is cluttered, we tend to avoid it. Your craft room is definitely not the place you want to be avoiding.

When you finally organize your supplies, you’ll find yourself spending more time crafting and that’s worth any amount of time you have to spend decluttering and getting organized.

Admit it, constantly having to stress out searching for lost or missing items in your craft room is frustrating. Get help turning your craft room back into the relaxing creative space it was always meant to be with the 52 Weeks to an Organized Workspace challenge.

3. Getting Organized Creates More Time for Crafting

I often tell my children that the one thing I can’t do is manipulate time. While that’s true, we can make more time for the things we enjoy when we get organized.

When I’m not spending my time searching for lost items, getting distracted by a cluttered space, and avoiding the stress of disorganization, I have more time for what I enjoy. Being creative!

Organizing your craft room allows you to get crafty whenever you like, without spending large amounts of time setting up an area to work, cleaning up leftover messes, or searching for tools you need.

4. Motivation to Finish Projects

A disorganized craft space can make it more difficult to complete projects. An organized craft room will make you more productive. Ready to finally finish those projects you’ve been working on? Here’s how getting organized can help.

Organizing systems and routines help you complete more in less time. Having spaces for all your supplies that make sense can make it easier to craft and complete projects.

An organized desk lets you quickly find the items you want and avoid spending time searching for tools and supplies. In the end, this will help you to complete more projects by saving time and energy.

Check out my tips on how to organize small objects in a way that makes sense and will help you get back to crafting and finally finish that big project you’re working on.

5. Enjoy Crafting Again

When you get organized and simplify your creative space, something amazing happens. You experience an energy boost! It’s a sudden boost for your creativity.

Whether it’s seeing all those supplies you forgot you had, finally feeling able to tackle that project you haven’t finished yet, or being able to relax and spread your wings in your safe space again, suddenly you find that you are ready to start crafting.

In an organized space you can be more productive, relax, unwind, and remember all the things you enjoy about crafting. So when you’re ready to let go of the excuses for not getting organized, finally deal with the clutter, and tackle your craft room,

I’ll be here cheering you on with support, encouragement, and lots of ideas to help along the way.

Happy organizing, y’all! You’ve totally got this!
