Hello, hello!
So many of y’all asked for a condensed summer version of the 52 Weeks to an Organized Workspace challenge. And let’s face it, sometimes getting in there and getting things done really is the way to go. After all, isn’t the whole point to make stuff and not spend all your time organizing it?
If you’re like me, you’ve probably already tried this a time or two. Maybe you got to a certain point and lost focus or maybe you just got busy with life. You know, because kids and jobs will do that.
Are you ready to finally get your creative space organized once and for all? Join thousands of other creative mamas who are doing just that in the 52 Weeks Facebook group.
The plan is to post a new challenge each Monday starting in June. There is one little detail that I might have forgotten to mention and some of you probably already know what it is. You see, the little guy is finally going to be a big brother.
That means there will be a week in August when there probably won’t be a challenge posted. No big deal, though. Consider it a free week to catch up and/or take a break.
So roll up your sleeves, recruits! It’s time to pack those duffel bags and get ready for bootcamp! There’s no turning back now.
Here’s what you’ll need to get started:
- Notebook
- Pencil
- Basket
Keep in mind that your creative space isn’t going to organize itself. You need to commit right here and right now to seeing this thing through. If you want to be able to actually create in your space, then do it. Clear your calendar, start a to-do list, and make it happen. You’ve totally got this, mama!
Here’s a tentative plan for each week, so that you’ll have an idea of what to expect. And of course I’ll have lots more details for you throughout the next few months.

So exactly how is this thing going to work? Each Monday, the pinned post in our 52 Weeks Facebook group will tell you everything you need to know for the week. Why Monday? It gives you a few days to brainstorm and then the entire weekend to work on it. By the time the next challenge is posted, you should be just about ready to roll with it.
If you’re not, no worries. Keep doing what you’re doing. It’s better to be behind than to give up. I’d rather you take your time and get it right than try to get ahead and end up hating it.
This is also where you’ll find a link to each week’s challenge as well as a to-do list to keep you on track. Some weeks, I’ll also post a list of resources.
I can’t wait to get started! And to watch you reclaim your creative space in just 12 weeks! Are you ready?
