My favorite thing about these Easter bunny activity pages is that they can be completed with dot markers*. When my little guy first developed a love for math, he was still too young to grip a pencil properly.
He just didn’t have strong enough muscles to write numbers yet. However, many of the preschool math pages we found involved writing the answer. He was disappointed that mommy had to help him finish the pages.
With these free printable Easter activity sheets, your little learners can solve the problems all on their own because these pages don’t require them to be able to write. Preschoolers can practice counting the bunnies and choose the correct answer from the provided choices by marking it with their dot markers*.
Want to know what else I love about these bunny activity pages? They give preschoolers the opportunity to practice lots of skills!
Here are just a few skills you’ll get to practice with this preschool Easter bunny activity.
Counting 1 to 10
Practicing counting from 1 to 10 and counting objects helps preschoolers to understand number order and helps prepare them for more complex mathematical operations in the years to come.
Being able to recognize and identify numbers gives preschool learners the ability to understand math concepts and learn to love math at an early age.
Learning to recognize numbers by sight is an important part of developing number recognition that little learners can practice as they count the bunnies with these printable Easter activity sheets.
One to One Correspondence
One-to-one correspondence involves counting each object in a set once by touching the object and saying the corresponding number aloud. Children can practice this important early math skill by counting the characters in this Easter themed preschool math activity.
