My kids are obsessed with all things Christmas and let’s not forget about cars and trucks too! This fun tracing activity includes the best of both worlds!

Your preschool and kindergarten-aged learners will have a blast helping their favorite Christmas characters win the race by using a dry erase marker to trace each of the paths on these free Christmas printables.

Simply print and laminate for lots of Christmas-themed fun! You can choose to cut apart these Christmas-themed tracing strips with scissors or just slip each page into page protectors for your writing center. This adorable activity will delight your little learners this holiday season.

I made this cute tracing activity for baby girl last year and of course, she had a wonderful time with it. There are a total of four pages that when cut apart make 16 Christmas tracing cards.

The characters include a gingerbread man, Santa, an elf, and more. Because we’re at home, we usually print and laminate our tracing activities and then toss them into a basket along with a few dry-erase markers.

Printable Christmas activities like this one are perfect for practicing pre-writing and fine motor skills in an engaging and hands-on way. As a homeschool mama, I love that she can quickly and easily grab a basket and work on seasonal and holiday activities independently while I’m working with the little guy or even taking care of the baby.

If you’d like to extend the learning fun, be sure to include blank paper for your preschoolers and kindergartners to design their own Christmas race cars and race tracks.

When they’re finished they can use crayons or markers to color their designs. It’s the perfect Christmas writing center for early learners!
