52 Weeks to an Organized Workspace – Wrappin’ It Up

February 12, 2017

Hello friends!

Welcome to week 51 of the 52 Weeks to an Organized Workspace. This week we’re wrappin’ it up and focusing on all the pretty things. It’s time for design + decor, y’all!

By the way, this post may contain affiliate links. which means I may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you if an item is purchased through one of these links. For more information, see my full disclosures here.

The studio just kinda happened. Not kidding! Lol… I finished the distressed plank wall and it sort of became the basis for everything else. That’s how we ended up with the industrial farmhouse style. I definitely love it, though.

When my husband and I were planning the studio, we started with paint and stain colors. After that, it was all about the details. I’ve spent the last year or so looking for fun stuff to add. Hello galvanized pails and wooden crates, right?

Seriously, though. It never fails. I’ve somehow managed to find lots of awesome stuff for the studio, almost too much. And I’m definitely head over heels in love with Target, Michael’s, Pier 1, and Hobby Lobby. I’m sure there are so many more awesome places to find design + decor items, so don’t forget to leave a comment and share your favorite.

If you’ve been keeping up to this point, you should have a creative space that’s clean and organized, which means you’ll be able to see exactly where you need a little of this and a bit of that, so get busy.

Take a look around and think about exactly how you want your space to feel. Maybe even read an article or two about color psychology. Check out 15 Ways to Use Color Psychology to Create the Perfect Decor Palette from Brit+Co for some examples of how color affects your mood.
