Welcome to week 37 of the 52 Weeks to an Organized Workspace Challenge. This week is all about ideas & inspiration. Um, can you say hello Pinterest? And I’m all like yay for inspiration boards! Lol… If you want to see exactly how I do it, check out this post.
Seriously, though. I have lots of boards… Here’s a list of boards just for studio ideas & inspiration.
- Studio Spaces
- Studio Spaces – Cool Things I’ve Found
- Studio Spaces – Storage
- Studio Spaces – Organization
- Studio Spaces – Project Life
- Studio Spaces – Finishing Touches
- Studio Spaces in Unique Places
That’s over a half dozen boards for one topic. Yep, I’m just a little Type A. My point is do what works for you.
And while we’re on the subject, organizing ideas & inspiration that you have saved via paper is similar. If you have lots of things that fit into one particular category, it might make sense to break ’em up.
Then again, it’s easier to use general categories if you only have a few things to organize. Either way, figure out how you think and how you’re most likely to be able to recall whatever it is that you’re looking for and then go from there.
Do some brainstorming and take some time to think about how you’re going to organize your ideas & inspiration and then get to it. Don’t forget to share before and after pictures.
If you’re struggling, check out what we’ve pinned to our 52 Weeks – Workspace & Workflow group Pinterest board. You can also check out all of the ideas I’ve pinned on my Studio Spaces Pinterest boards. Hopefully, you’ll find something that inspires you.
