If you’ve been around for a while, then you already know that we’re using Mother Goose Time for preschool homeschool and it’s been such a huge blessing to us.
During week one, we learned about Food Groups. We pretended to be bakers with this Preschool Food Groups Theme Bakery Pretend Play Investigation Station.
And let’s not forget about our favorite activity of the entire month, this fun Preschool Food Groups Sensory Loose Parts in the Kitchen Investigation Station. I love these and I’ve been seeing them in our Teacher Guide more and more lately.
Activities that use loose parts are awesome for creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Week two was all about being in the kitchen. We learned about cleaning and safety, measuring and pouring, and lots of other related topics.
Week three brought with it lots of learning about Fitness and we did a fun Preschool Fitness Theme Roll Painting Invitation to Create Process Art Experience. I mean, seriously. What little kid doesn’t love painting in unique ways?
And we wrapped things up during week four when we learned about Health and did a Preschool Health Theme Doctor’s Office Dramatic Play Investigation Station.
We had a wonderful month full of Preschool Health & Fitness activities, don’t ya think?
Don’t forget to stop by next week if you’re interested in seeing what we’re up to with our Desert Discovery theme. And if you missed this year’s preschool homeschool space post, you can check it out here.
