Hello friends! It’s that time of the week. Are y’all ready for another challenge? Welcome to week 46 of the 52 Weeks to an Organized Workspace challenge. This week, we’re organizing charms. You know, all of those pretty little things we collect for making jewelry. All of my charms are organized in a set of […]
Hello friends! Each year, I share updated pictures of the studio. So many people have told me that they enjoy seeing how our creative space has evolved over time and of course so do I. A friend of mine said she loves how my space has turned into the little guy’s foot by foot. Ain’t that […]
The little guy has been really lovin’ the math stuff that comes in our Mother Goose Time curriculum kits lately, so I thought it might be all kinds of awesome to put together a math workbox for him. As much as I’d love to be able to set up so-called centers, we just don’t have the space, so… This is of course the next best thing.
I spent lots of time brainstorming anything and everything you could possibly imagine about putting together an art space for little kids. We’re not even going to get into how many hours I spent on Pinterest in the process, but I digress. Yep, I definitely wanted to. Heck, maybe I needed to. After all, what little kid wouldn’t totally love having an art space of their own?
The little guy and I have been spending lots of time working on Math + Reasoning Skills. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Mother Goose Time definitely has it all figured out. One of this week’s activities was a preschool Counting Bears activity. What a great way to work on math + reasoning skills for little kids, don’t ya think?
It’s been an exciting month for us with Mother Goose Time. Out with the old and in with the new, right? We’re officially using just the preschool curriculum (without the Little Goose toddler supplement) and of course Experience God too. I know I mentioned it before, but lots of fun stuff going on around here.
Hello, hello! The little guy and I were at Michael’s last night and we stumbled across a package of mini Christmas ornaments for just a few dollars. At first, I was kind of like really? And then it occurred to me that we could put together a quick + easy $5 Christmas sensory activity. Keep reading […]
Sometimes I share an overview of our entire day and other times I stick with one specific activity or project. Today it’s looking like the Hedgehog invitation to create is where it’s at. The little guy seriously loved it. We started with some craft supplies and an inspiration photo of a hedgehog and went from there.
Hello, hello! Wow! Can y’all believe it’s almost Christmas. I can’t. It seems like just yesterday that I started shopping for the little guy and here we are a month later and I’m over it. I’m done. I’m all like let’s get this show on the road already. Silly me thought it’d be a good […]
I haven’t shared an entire day of Mother Goose Time lately, so this post is of course a bit overdue. Today was all about Pipes & Plumbers and we definitely had lots of fun learning about both. We started with the Pipe Sculpture activity.
