This is totally my favorite time of the year. Mother Goose Time shared their theme list for the 2017-2018 school year not too long ago and I’m definitely in shopping and planning mode right now. The little guy and I are so excited about the awesome stuff that we’ll be doing next year. If you haven’t already, you can check it out here.
I can’t even begin to wrap my head around the fact that we’ve been doing Mother Goose Time for a year. We got our very first little yellow school bus box around this time last spring. And of course we started the day after the little guy’s birthday. I seriously can’t believe it’s been that long. What’s even more surprising, though? How much he’s learned in the last 12 months.
The little guy and I were both really excited to get started with our new theme from Mother Goose Time. This month, it’s all about Bugs + Crawly Things. We ordered this Insect Lore Butterfly Garden Gift Set to go along with our curriculum kit. We’ve all really enjoying checking on the caterpillars each day. And of course they’re getting so big already.
Hello friends! Each month, Mother Goose Time not only sends us their preschool curriculum kit, but also the Experience God curriculum too. Most of the time, we share one of the art projects, but I thought it might be fun to give y’all an idea of what’s in the box. So what exactly is Experience God anyhow?
Guess what, y’all! We’re just about done with our Birds + Eggs theme from Mother Goose Time. Next month, it’s all about bugs! Can’t wait! The little guy and I ordered caterpillars, so they’ll hopefully be here next week. Just in time to get started, right? Lol… Today, we’re sharing this awesome Bird Feet invitation to create process art experience.
It’s that time of the week again. We’re sharing what we’re up to with Mother Goose Time. This month, it’s all about Birds + Eggs. And the focus topic is The Art of Learning, so… I thought it’d be fun to talk about one of our favorite things. Process Art. And today, we’re going to do things Q+A style.
The little guy and I are loving all of the awesome stamps that we’ve been getting in our Mother Goose Time curriculum kits this year. We ended up with a set of family stamps and of course there’s a brand-spankin’-new shape stamp each month too. Over the course of the last year, we’ve accumulated lots of other stamps that we bought to go along with our themes.
Hello friends! We wrapped up our At the Pond theme not too long ago, but before we did, we spent some time making these awesome Paper Plate Lily Pads w/ Coffee Filter Water Lilies. This was probably the little guy’s favorite because he got the opportunity to use some of mama’s art supplies. You know, […]
Hello friends! Sometimes, we like quick and easy activities like this Life at the Pond Invitation to Play that I shared a few days ago and other times we go all out. Today we put together this awesome sensory bin, which includes tadpoles and frogs, duck counters, a pond plant or two, and even rocks […]
I can’t even begin to wrap my head around the fact that we’ve been using Mother Goose Time for a year already. It seems like just yesterday that we celebrated the little guy turning two and opened our very first little yellow school bus box. And here we are a year later planning another birthday party and starting to think about preschool.
