The little guy and I have had so much fun in the last few weeks. We’ve been reading and creating every day. That’s pretty much become our norm. We wake up, get ourselves breakfast, and read while we eat. We do our calendar & weather, introduce the topic for the day, and then do whatever activities are in our Mother Goose Time Teacher Guide.
We’re finally starting to get into a routine around here. If you missed it, I published a few posts all about it last month including Creating A Daily Routine for Preschool Homeschool and What Our Weeks Look Like. If you haven’t already, make sure you take a few minutes and check them out!
The most awesome thing about Mother Goose Time, by far, is the fact that everything is more or less ready to go. Yay for little to no planning or prep! I mean, sure, there are occasionally things to laminate and we get a gathering list, but most of that is just stuff we have around the house.
Hello, hello! There are only four weeks to go, y’all! Can you believe it? If you missed the announcement yesterday, I’m makin’ plans for 52 Weeks to an Organized Workspace – Take II starting the week of March 1, which means an opportunity to catch up if you’re behind or finish up if you started late. […]
I can’t even begin to wrap my head around how quickly time passes! It seems like just yesterday that the little guy and I were ripping open our very first little yellow school bus box from Mother Goose Time. In reality, it’s been almost a year. Hard to believe, I know. Each month means a new theme and lots of fun stuff to go with it.
Hello friends! It’s that time of the week. Are y’all ready for another challenge? Welcome to week 48 of the 52 Weeks to an Organized Workspace challenge. This week, it’s all about wire, chain, etc. You can’t live with ’em and you can’t live without ’em, right? If you’re into making jewelry, then of course […]
Each month, the Mother Goose Time blog ambassadors focus on a different topic and this month it’s all about routines. If you missed it last week, you can read about how we created a daily routine for preschool homeschool here, but this week I thought it’d be fun to give you an idea of what our weeks look like now that the little guy and I are home full-time.
Hello friends! It’s that time of the week. Are y’all ready for another challenge? Welcome to week 47 of the 52 Weeks to an Organized Workspace challenge. This week, we’re organizing findings. I’m willing to bet we all have entirely too many clips + clasps, right? Remember a few weeks ago when I mentioned organizing […]
The little guy and I had an awesome first week of Baby Animals w/ Mother Goose Time. And of course one of our favorite activities was the Seahorse Invitation to Create. I’m sure that doesn’t come as a surprise to anyone who’s been following along with us for a while. We definitely love process art around here.
I wanted to do a quick post tonight to share what we’ve been up to with Mother Goose Time. This month is all about daily routines, so I thought it’d be fun to give you a peek at how we’re doing things now that the little guy and I are at home. Probably the biggest advantage to our schedule these days is that there’s no need to set an alarm clock during the week.
