It’s all about the money, right? And you get what you pay for. That’s true with just about everything in life and preschool curriculum is definitely no exception.

One of the questions that I see asked over and over again is whether or not Mother Goose Time is really worth the money. I’m kinda not suprised, though. I mean, I’ve spent a lot of money on preschool curriculum. It’s not cheap.
First, there were the literature-based programs, which I love, but what about art and sensory activities? And of course, there were curriculum packages that were, for lack of a better term, STEM-based, but that meant saying so long and farewell to unit studies. And ya know what? We’re head over heels for them. Preschool is all about the themes, y’all!
And then I stumbled across Mother Goose Time. It’s everything that I could ever want and so much more. Every month, a little yellow school bus box shows up at our door and inside is everything that we need for preschool. Literally…

And you know what? After looking at more options than I care to admit and even going as far as buying a few of them, I can tell you that Mother Goose Time is hands down my favorite. It truly is one of a kind and there’s nothing else like it.
I have yet to find another program as awesome as this one. And trust me, we have quite a few. You can read more about my thoughts on needs vs wants and how Mother Goose Time is helpful to me here.
Now that we have that out of the way, let’s talk about the money. You see, because I could spend a few hundred a month and send the little guy to a local preschool, but why would I do that? They’re only little for so long and you can’t get this time back.
Mother Goose Time is something that I truly want the little guy to experience and we make it work for us. The time that it saves each month makes it more than worth the money. After all, there are only so many hours in a day. You can spend your time putting together your own curriculum or you buy one that’s already put together for you.
Um hello! Sign me up! Lol…
I’m not wasting my time on Pinterest or researching standards or… Nopers! Instead, I’m hanging out with the little guy. We’re building and playing and creating every day. And of course learning too! And that, my friends, is exactly why I wouldn’t trade Mother Goose Time for anything.
Don’t forget to check back next week to see what we’re up to with our new Camping theme. And if you missed our preschool space post a while back, you can check it out here.

As a Mother Goose Time blog ambassador, I receive the Mother Goose Time Preschool curriculum in exchange for my honest and authentic stories resulting from our personal experiences. As always, my opinions on awesome stuff for little kids are 100% my own. Keep in mind that all preschoolers do things in their own time and on their own terms. What one is ready for, another might not be. Please use your best mama judgement when planning activities for your little kids. #mgtblogger
