It’s that time of the month again. Today, we’re sharing what we’re up to with Experience God. This months’ curriculum focuses on Esphesians 4:32 and features the story “The Parable of the Lost Son.”

If you’ve been around for a while, then you probably already know that each month, we receive an awesome box of preschool curriculum from Mother Goose Time. And you know what, they’ve clearly thought of everything because they offer a Christian supplement too. Did I mention that we’re kinda in love with it? I’m sure that isn’t exactly a surprise, though. Lol…
These fun memory verse sticks were so easy to make. And even if you didn’t get this month’s bible verse sheet, you could totally do it yourself.
Memory Verse Sticks
What you’ll need
- 7 Craft Sticks
- Bible Verse Sheet
Here’s how to do it
Ask: How did Jesus forgive us?
- Cut out the paper strips and glue one on each craft stick.
- Put them in order and practice memorizing the bible verse.
- To put the sticks in order, match the colors printed on the left side like dominoes.
- Use the pictures as cues to help remember the verse.
Explain: Jesus is God. He is also known as the word, the blood, and the light. Other names for the Holy Spirit are the Holy Ghost and the Water
The little guy and I put together our memory verse sticks over and over again. He loved matching the colors and reading the verse together.
Most of the Mother Goose Time activities include multiple skills and this one was no exception. Of course that’s one of the many things that I love about using this curriculum.
Don’t forget to check back next week to see what we’re up to with our new Alphabet Island theme. And if you missed our preschool space post a while back, you can check it out here.

As a Mother Goose Time blog ambassador, I receive the Mother Goose Time Preschool curriculum in exchange for my honest and authentic stories resulting from our personal experiences. As always, my opinions on awesome stuff for little kids are 100% my own. Keep in mind that all preschoolers do things in their own time and on their own terms. What one is ready for, another might not be. Please use your best mama judgement when planning activities for your little kids. #mgtblogger
