As a Mother Goose Time blog ambassador, I receive the Mother Goose Time Preschool curriculum in exchange for my honest and authentic stories resulting from our personal experiences. As always, my opinions on awesome stuff for little kids are 100% my own. Keep in mind that all toddlers do things in their own time and on their own terms. What one is ready for, another might not be. Please use your best mama judgement when planning activities for your little kids.
Each month, Mother Goose Time not only sends us their preschool curriculum kit, but also the Experience God curriculum too. Most of the time, we share one of the art projects, but I thought it might be fun to give y’all an idea of what’s in the box.
So what exactly is Experience God anyhow? You can learn more about how to use it to transform Mother Goose Time into a comprehensive Christian preschool program here.
Each month, we get one teacher pack and two student packs. I like to have extra supplies, just in case. And besides, sometimes it’s fun to sit down and actually do the art projects with the little guy. I’m sure you can totally relate.
Here’s how it works. In each Teacher Pack, you’ll find a Teacher Guide, storytelling cards, and a bible verse poster.
This month, it’s all about John 14:26
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name,
will teach you all things and remind you of everything that I have told you.
The Teacher Guide includes everything you need to know for each week. There is a story, an art project, and four activities.
You also get Child Packs for each of the little kids that you ordered for. Inside each of them are Family Time Newsletters and Experience Art Packs. I also love the sheet that shows an example of each week’s art project. What an awesome overview! And yay for stuff to look forward to, right?
Of course each Experience Art Pack includes the supplies you need to make all of the art projects.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Mother Goose Time is such an awesome program, especially for homeschool mamas. You know, because it’s not like we can do it all.
Before we started using Mother Goose Time, I literally spent hours every week on Pinterest. It was ridiculous. I spent so much time planning that I didn’t even really get to enjoy teaching. I’m sure y’all know how that goes.
